HVAC MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL

As an HVAC (mechanical) Electrician at Fantail Services Limited, you will be a key figure in our various projects. You are responsible for a variety of commercial and industrial installation work which includes all types of HVAC Electrical power supply and control wiring for Chillers, motors, pumps, air-handlers, air-conditioning and BMS hardware and controls.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Install, troubleshoot & commission HVAC (mechanical) electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with AS/NZS: 3000:2007 and amendments, NZS:4219 and building codes
• Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines
• Mentor and train electrician apprentices

• An hourly rate ranging between $38p/h – $46p/h depending on your knowledge, experience and ability to train apprentices. This is based on a guaranteed minimum 44-hour work week
• An overtime rate of x1.5 of your hourly rate after 44 hours in a week and a day in lieu if working on a statutory holiday
• 3 times a year a one-on-one progress check-in review with your manager, including a minimum of 1 performance pay review per year

• At 5-years continuous employment, an additional $2,300 is added to your annual remuneration.
• At 10-years continuous employment, anadditional 3-days annual leave entitlement will be added along with an additional sick leave entitlement. This being unlimited year-on-year accumulation of your annual sick leave entitlement (we will not cap your accumulated sick leave)
• At 15 years continuous employment, a $2,000 gross one-off bonus will be paid. Additional to this is a one-off annual leave grant of 10 working days (2 weeks)

• Reimbursement if working additional hours past 7:00pm Mon-Fri or if you attend work on the weekend to commit to completing a task/project
• For your role we include a Company vehicle, fuel card, and android phone with enough New Zealand minutes, texts and data to carry out your tasks

• NZ Electrical Registration + Current Practicing License
• Proven HVAC (mechanical) Electrician experience
• Exceptional standards of installation execution and fault-finding skills with electrical and low voltage controlssystems
• A passion for maintaining a safe work environment and health & safety processes
• Proven experience with correctly completing quality assurance [QA] processes
• A passion for using digital technology to complete tasks and follow processes.
