Small Works Manager
As Service Manager at Fantail Services, I coordinate with clients and oversee small works teams to ensure every job runs smoothly and efficiently. I’ve been in the electrical industry since leaving college and am a proud Registered Electrician with years of hands-on experience. I lead a skilled team delivering quality service across a range of projects. My goal is to keep growing the team and raising the bar for service excellence. One of my proudest achievements was delivering 180 homes in a subdivision in under three years. Outside of work, you’ll find me on the golf course, spending time with family, or working on the house.
Nick McManaway (Shareholder)
Senior Estimator
As Senior Estimator at Fantail Services, I work closely with clients to develop tailored, accurate pricing solutions for a range of complex projects. I’m a Registered Electrician with a New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Trade (Level 4), my journey began as an apprentice before stepping into the office as a Service Coordinator. I’m proud to have completed my Electrical Engineering Diploma while continuing to grow in my role. Outside of work, I’m passionate about music, history, hiking, and exploring literature and travel.
Nick Wolthuis (Shareholder)
Commercial Project Manager
I joined Fantail Services to grow alongside a dynamic, forward-thinking company. I now lead project delivery in our commercial construction team. My electrical background and love for engineering made project management a natural path, especially with my drive to solve complex problems. I’m proud to have introduced systems that help our teams work smarter and more cohesively. I value honesty, reliability, and genuine care, qualities I aim to bring into every project and team interaction. Outside of work, you’ll find me riding motorbikes, surfing, programming, or capturing moments through photography and film.

Finance Manager
I joined Fantail Services as Finance Manager because I saw a company that shares my values; collaboration, passion, and continuous improvement. With 15 years in finance across multiple sectors, I bring both experience and energy to a role that balances payroll, strategic planning, and keeping our team connected. One of my proudest achievements has been leading our transition to digital tools, making our work faster and smarter. I’m excited to help grow Fantail into an industry leader built on innovation and humility. Outside the office, I love travelling and discovering new cultures and cuisines.
Lisa Chivers
Health and Safety Representative
I support Fantail Services as an external Health & Safety Advisor through Simply Safety. With over 20 years of experience in the construction and service industries, I bring both expertise and a practical approach to building safer workplaces. I work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to not only mitigate risks but also empower staff to see safety as a natural part of their everyday work. My goal is to help foster a positive, proactive safety culture across the company.
